Yes. Smartlec holds an A-Grade Electrician Licence for domestic and commercial work, is a Registered Electrical Contractor (REC 27608), and carries $20 million in public liability insurance. Every job is completed to current Australian electrical standards.
The $99 inspection is the call-out, and it is credited back to you when the work goes ahead. There is no separate surprise surcharge added at the end. You see the quoted price before any work starts.
Yes. Our hours are Monday to Friday 7:00am to 5:30pm and Saturday 7:00am to 3:00pm. We are closed Sundays. For a power outage or urgent fault during operating hours, let us know and we will prioritise it.
Sometimes. A 7kW charger is a heavy continuous load, and an older or full board may lack the capacity or protection to add it. We check that as part of the quote, and because we are A-Grade electricians we can do the board or mains upgrade and the charger as one job if needed.
Yes, we have a small team that can handle all three, so a renovation list that would otherwise mean separate trades gets quoted and carried out together.
Often, yes, through the Victorian Energy Upgrades program, but it is not a set amount or an automatic one. Eligibility depends on the system you are replacing, your property and the unit going in. We are licensed to claim VEU rebates, so we check whether your job qualifies and, where it does, apply the savings to your quote and handle the certificate paperwork for you.
